I am a photographic artist working mainly with self portraits, still life and my close family members as a way of exploring issues of identity, existence and the wide world of connection.
My work revolves around notions of the mundane and the everyday. Since the very early days of my photographic journey I was intrigued by the way we experience the world both inwards and outwards in our daily lives, and what these experiences might mean for our identity.
In my latest body of work I am working mainly with the concepts of Existence, Identity, Life and Birth as beginnings, connection with our inner self, and bonding with our inherent truths; as well as with concepts such as fragility, sensitivity and alike sensations.
By performing in front of the camera, I am both composing unique moments of symbolic acts and opening a direct conversation between myself and the audience.
